This year’s Microbe of the Day (MOTD) presentations did not disappoint! Students enrolled in CE 4160 and CE 6260, Introduction to Environmental Microbiology & Biological Waste Treatment, presented to the class about microbes of their own choosing that have some relevance to food, energy, water, health, or other environmental impacts. This year’s collection of microbes included several new microorganisms that had not been used in previous years. See below for selected highlights.
