Lisa was selected to receive a UVA Sustainability Leadership Award for 2023. The awards are administered by UVA’s Office for Sustainability (OFS). They honor those who exhibit outstanding dedication to advancing sustainability practices and solutions. Lisa was recognized for her work as founding director of UVA’s Decarbonization Academy in Summers 2023 and 2024. The awards were conferred at a Sustainability Leadership Luncheon during the first week of finals. It was truly a surprise and honor to be selected as a recipient!
